MassComm students win honourable mention awards at New Perspective Mini Series Contest

Team Thapphachao Kim and Team Pathfinder from CMU Faculty of Mass Communication made the top five in the national round of the New Perspective Mini Series Contest and were given two honourable mention awards, earning prize money of 15,000 and a certificate.
Organised by Assumption University with funding from the Broadcasting and Telecommunications Research and Development Fund for Public Interest, the contest attracted interest from university students across the country. They received training on screenplay writing and production provided by teams of experts and produced a miniseries that was entertaining and educational under the concept of social enterprises and the three aspects of sustainability: society, culture, and environment. The two honourable mention awards were a great achievement for Mass Communication students who will go on to become creators producing creative projects that will have positive impacts on society.
