The Maxillofacial Prosthetics Rehabilitation Center facilitates implant treatments for patients who have deformation around the oral cavity and face by utilizing the latest technologies and techniques to ensure patient comfort and satisfaction.

The establishment of the center was supported by the Department of Prosthodontics and the Dental Hospital and is overseen by Associate Professor Dr. Panarat Khordkeaw and advised by Associate Professor Dr. Piyawat Punkosol, who established the Maxillofacial Unit in year 2015, which went on to become the Maxillofacial Prosthetic Rehabilitation Center.

The center aims to create inventions and innovations for patients to have a better life and is a center of learning for dentists and prosthodontics’ graduate students.

The center together with CMU’s Faculty of Medicine and Nakornping Hospital treats patients who have neoplasm, oral and facial cancer. It also treats patients with birth deformations together with CMU’s Center for Solving Deformation of Face and Head, Faculty of Medicine.

The center produces Nasoform, a device for adapting the nose, which was awarded a Second Excellent Prize in the field of society from National Innovative Agency in 2014. This device has been patented and is in the process of an entrepreneurship incubation with encouragement by CMU’s Intellectual Asset and Advantage Management and Technological Transmission Unit.
