Radiologic Technology PhD students won the Rapid Oral Presentations Consolation Prize at EMPOWER 2021: Combating Non-Communicable Diseases Towards Healthy Ageing, a conference held June 2 – 3, 2021 via Zoom.

Ms. Khin TheNu Aye presented her work titled, ‘Effect of Gallic Acid on Pirarubicin Transport Kinetics in Living Leukemic K562 and K562/Dox Cell Lines’, supervised by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Montree Tungjai.

Ms. Sakornniya Wattanapongpitak presented her work titled, ‘Effect of Low Dose X-Ray on Leukemic K562 Cells: Cell Viability, Iron Level and Lipid Peroxidation’, supervised by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Montree Tungjai.

Ms. Ohnmar Myint presented her work titled, ‘Effect of 4-Hydroxybenzoic Acid and 4-Hydroxy-3-methoxybenzoic Acid on Anticancer Activity in Leukemic K562 Cell Line and its Possible Mechanism’, supervised by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Montree Tungjai.
