Opening Ceremony of the Academic Conference ‘EU and ASEAN Synergy for Solid Waste Management’

The CMU Faculty of Engineering was sponsored by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union to organise the Sustainable solid Waste Management and Policies (SWAP) programme to enrich the body of knowledge on the subject and to promote an active understanding of ecofriendly waste management, as well as to provide training in effective waste management for academic personnel in Southeast Asia by drawing on the expertise of allied EU institutions. On January 9, 2024, at the Chiang Mai Grand View Hotel’s Thipphiman Room, Professor Dr. Pongruk Sribanditmonkol, the CMU President, presided over the opening ceremony of the academic conference ‘EU and ASEAN Synergy for Solid Waste Management’, while Assistant Professor Dr. Patiroop Pholchan, gave an overview report.
