On August 28, 2022 at 2:30 p.m., Asst. Prof. Dr. Benjamas Suksathit, Acting Assoc. Dean for Student Development and International Relations of the International College of Digital Innovation, Chiang Mai University, together with the delegation, were the representatives of the Buddhist Association of Thailand under the Royal Patronage of His Majesty the King, offering candles under the royal patronage of Somdej Phra Kanitthathirat Department of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn to Wat Thaton Phra Aram Luang, Thaton Subdistrict, Mae Ai District, Chiang Mai Province with His Majesty the King's grace Assistant abbot of Wat Thaton Phra Aram Luang, together with the monks, received a candle that gave prayers to His Majesty, with Lieutenant Colonel Boonroj Kongkaew, the president of Tha Ton Subdistrict Administrative Organization with Buddhists participated in activities for offering candles for the auspicious occasion of the Thai Kingdom in the year 2022. Somdej Phra Kanitthathirat Department of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn gave the prayed candles to the Buddhist Association of Thailand under royal patronage to offer to various temples to preserve and perform royal merits according to the traditional royal ceremony on the occasion of the Buddhist Lent Festival of the year 2022.
