NURSE CMU's Wai Khru Ceremony 2023

On 29 June 2023, Assistant Professor Dr. Thanee Kaewthummanukul, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University presided over Wai Kru Ceremony 2023 organized by the Nursing Student Union.The purpose of this ceremony was for all students to pay respect and gratitude to their faculty members before the beginning of the new acedemic year by giving them a pedestal tray made from Ixora Flowers (which while closed form pointed buds, symbolizing sharp wit), Eggplant Flowers (which bow low when nearing fruiting, symbolizing respect and humility), Popped Rice (which symbolizes discipline) and Burmuda Grass (the rapid growth and resilience of which symbolize perseverance and the ability to learn).
