11 October 2021
CENTER FOR THE PROMOTION OF ART CULTURE AND CREATIVE LANNA,CMU (ACCLCMU)
CMU Lanna House Museum (CMULHM) was named Best Attraction for Learning and Doing at the 13th Thailand Tourism Gold Awards, 2021.
On October 11, 2021, Princess Ubolratana graciously presided over the 13th Thailand Tourism Awards’ awarding ceremony, held to honour 185 tourism entrepreneurs via virtual live broadcast.
Assist Prof Vilawan Svetsreni, Director of CMU Centre for the Promotion of Arts and Culture, attended the ceremony to receive the Best Attractions for Learning Doing. This award is a great pride of CMULHM, which has strived to improve service and elevate the tourism management standards to the international level. CMULHM is among 11 attractions that are recognised in this category.
The biannual Thailand Tourism Awards by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) are given to tourism entrepreneurs as a certification that a product or service meets the international standards. This year 346 establishments were participating in three categories: Attractions, Accommodations, and Health Tourism. The selection was done by the committee consisting of tourism experts, while the feedback from tourists was also taken into account.
