Nursing Lecturer Wins Silver for Health Assessment System ‘CMU i-Health’
21 May 2025
Faculty of Nursing
Dr. Wanicha Pungchompoo, Associate Professor at the Department of Medical Nursing, Faculty of Nursing, and the head researcher of the HealthyCMU project, was awarded a silver medal in the general category for her HealthyCMU project on CMU i-Health, a health assessment system, at the 2025 general meeting of the Nursing Innovation and Health Association. Under the theme ‘From Ideas to Nursing and Health Science Innovation’, the meeting was held via Zoom May 17-18, 2025.
CMU i-Health is an information system for health risk assessment of chronic non-communicable diseases, quality of life and health promotion behaviors among CMU employees. This initiative has since evolved into the Uni-Health Platform as part of the broader Healthy University scheme. The Uni-Health Platform now offers comprehensive physical and mental health assessments for students and employees at Chiang Mai University, North-Chiang Mai University, and the University of Phayao. It covers four key dimensions: 1. Physical health, health behavior, quality of life and happiness, 2. Mental health, 3. Risk factors due to smoking and 4. Risk factors due to alcohol consumption.
