Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School
On Thursday, August 22nd, 2024, Assistant Professor Dr. Thanyanuparp Anantana, Vice President of Chiang Mai University, and Associate Professor Dr. Apichat Sopadang, Dean of Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School, extended a warm welcome to representatives from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan. The visiting delegation included Prof. Nobuhiro Hayashi, Vice President for International Affairs at Tokyo Tech, and Mr. Tatsuya Mizukoshi, Director of Tokyo Tech ANNEX Bangkok.
The purpose of the visit was to engage in academic discussions and explore opportunities for collaborative activities between Chiang Mai University and Tokyo Institute of Technology. The meeting was attended by representatives from four departments of Chiang Mai University:
- Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School
, represented by Assist. Prof. Vorathamon Cherapanukorn, Ph.D., Assistant Dean.
- The Faculty of Engineering, represented by Assist. Prof. Dr. Korrakot Yaibuathet Tippayawong, Assistant Dean.
- The Faculty of Science, represented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Parkpoom Phetpradap, Assistant Dean for Lifelong Education and Cooperative Education
- The Science and Technology Park (STeP), represented by Dr. Nattida Tachaboon, Project Manager of STeP
The meeting was held at the Buares Kamthong Meeting Room, 5th Floor, University Office Building 2, Chiang Mai University. The delegation also visited the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Engineering at Chiang Mai University.
