Signing of MoU between Faculties of Medicine and Agro-industry
21 July 2025
Corporate Communication and Alumni Relations Center (CCARC)
On July 21, 2025, Professor Dr. Pongruk Sribanditmongkol, CMU President, welcomed Associate Professor Dr. Yuthana Phimolsiripol, Dean of the Faculty of Agro-industry, and Associate Professor Narain Chotirosniramit, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, during the signing of an MoU between the two faculties, aimed at enhancing capacity and strengthening academic excellence across academics, research, innovation, and academic services. Under this agreement, the faculties will integrate their expertise into developing educational activities and conduct interdisciplinary research, particularly in the vital areas of functional food, health food, elderly food, and clinical research. The collaboration also extends to academic service provision, notably through testing of senior consumers by the Senior Consumer Testing Unit (SCTU), and advancing medical food innovation. This partnership is a clear demonstration of the university's vision to foster sustainable development through the cross-disciplinary integration of knowledge, ultimately leading to innovations and services that improve overall health and quality of life. The signing ceremony, held in the M.L. Pin Malakul Room, Office of the University, was attended by executives from both faculties.
