On Wednesday, March 19, 2025, Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School (MIdS), Chiang Mai University, led by the curriculum development team and marketing staff, visited 5th and 6th year students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, CMU. The visit aimed to introduce and promote the Master of Arts and Science Program in Pet Business Management, offered under the Integrated Science major at MIdS CMU.
The event featured faculty members from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine who contributed to the curriculum development, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Saruda Tiwananthagorn, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sasithorn Panasophonkul and Asst. Prof. Dr. Pitchaya Matchimakul. They provided students with comprehensive information about the program during the presentation session of 6th veterinary students' professional experience reports for the 2024 academic year. The event took place at the Northern Veterinary Learning and Health Promotion Center (NOVEL CMU), Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Chiang Mai University.

It integrates both theoretical and practical learning, equipping veterinary students with the necessary expertise to extend their knowledge into pet business management. The program also focuses on business administration skills and marketing strategies tailored for the pet industry, providing direct learning experiences from experts in the field. Graduates will be well-prepared to manage their businesses professionally and succeed in the rapidly growing pet industry.
