MIdS CMU Signs Academic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai

On Wednesday, July 9, 2025, Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School, Chiang Mai University, officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai to establish academic collaboration in the field of healthcare and artificial intelligence (AI).
The signing ceremony took place at the Co-working Space, 3rd Floor, MIdS Building, Chiang Mai University. The event was presided over by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Apichat Sophadang, Dean of MIdS CMU, who delivered a welcome and introduction to the college, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ekkarat Boonchieng, Associate Dean, who presented the objectives of the collaboration.
The MoU was signed by the following representatives:

This partnership aims to promote mutual cooperation in the development and application of artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare systems, the advancement of professional training programs, and the exchange of academic knowledge and expertise between the two institutions.
This MoU marks a significant step toward integrating multidisciplinary education and cutting-edge healthcare innovation, reinforcing both parties’ commitment to shaping a smarter and healthier future for Thai society.
