MassComm Students Named Northern Region Winner of Smooth-E Thailand Marketing Plan Contest

Students from the CMU Faculty of Mass Communication were named the Northern region’s winner of the 32nd J-MAT Award themed ‘Everything Goes Smoothly with Confidence’, a marketing plan contest by Smooth-E Thailand held on November 10, 2023, at Smooth Life Tower, Sathorn.
The award-winning Team Smooth-E Mee Sit Mai Kha comprised of Ms. Supanan Kanchana, Ms. Arisa Hankwang, Ms. Panita Thatchana, Ms. Thanchanok Kham-at and Ms. Natthaya Khamchom, third-year students majoring in Marketing Communication. They were supervised by Dr. Piyapong Ingthaisong. The team made the top 25 and was the Northern region’s winner, earning prize money worth 10,000 baht and a certificate of honor.
The 32nd J-MAT Award is a national marketing plan contest, where 2,651 students, 245 teams from 59 institutions nationwide participate and compete for a chance of winning a plaque of honor by Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and a total prize money of 500, 000 baht.
