CMU Welcomes Executives and Faculty Members from London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM)
25 June 2025
Corporate Communication and Alumni Relations Center (CCARC)
On June 25, 2025, Professor of Practice Dr. Charin Techapun, Vice President, along with other CMU executives, welcomed Dr. Melanie Morris, Taught Programme Director for the Faculty of Epidemiology and Population Health, and a delegation consisting of administrators and faculty members from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM). The meeting, held at Executive Meeting Room 2, Office of the University 1, focused on exchanging ideas and discussing the development of a planetary and sustainable health programme. This marks the beginning of a bilateral collaboration aimed at addressing global health and environmental challenges. LSHTM, a leading institution in medicine and public health, will support CMU's ambition to become a prominent figure in promoting health sustainability. This aligns with CMU's vision of becoming ‘A Leading University Committed to Social Responsibility for Sustainable Development through Innovation’, in which sustainably links mankind, the environment, and ecosystems.
