Chiang Mai University Announcement on Air Pollution
Please consider taking the following measures in order to protect yourself against the severe air pollution in Chiang Mai.
Northern Thailand is experiencing high PM 2.5 concentrations which are negatively impacting people’s health and thus Chiang Mai University urges everyone to consider to:
1. Stay inside in a closed building with an air filter.
2. Refrain from outdoor activities until the particulate concentrations are back to normal.
3. If there are no air filters in the house, visit enclosed public places which do have an air filtering system.
4. If it is necessary to go outside, please wear a mask at all times and avoid places with high particulate concentrations.
