SustainableCampus Management Center : SCMC
On June 19 and 20, 2025, the Sustainable Campus Management Center at Chiang Mai University, in collaboration with the Dormitory University Office, organized the CMU Safety First Workshop to enhance awareness and understanding of safe driving for first-year students.
The event received a positive response from students, with expert instructors from Honda participating as trainers, sharing knowledge on safe driving in an easily understandable manner, including:
- Basic traffic rules and road etiquette
- Various risk points within Chiang Mai University
- How to properly yield to vehicles in roundabouts
- Techniques for safe driving
- And more.
Students actively participated in the activities, engaging in discussions and asking questions related to driving. This event provided an excellent opportunity to instill discipline and safety in road usage within the university.
The Sustainable Campus Management Center and the Dormitory University Office would like to express their gratitude to all students and instructors who showed interest and attended the event.
