From March 10–13, 2025, the College of Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School, Chiang Mai University (MIdS CMU), led by Associate Professor Dr. Apichat Sopadang, Dean Of Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School and Assistant Professor Dr. Vorathamon Cherapanukorn, Assistant Dean, attended a meeting to discuss academic collaboration with deans from the Institute of Science Tokyo (formerly Tokyo Institute of Technology). The participating deans included:

The meeting aimed to further develop academic, research, and innovation collaborations under the Seed International Initiatives project. This initiative seeks to strengthen research, innovation, and academic partnerships between MIdS CMU and the Tokyo Institute of Technology by fostering joint projects and enhancing cooperative efforts in education and research.
