On **November 13, 2024**, the **Energy Research and Development Institute-Nakornping, Chiang Mai University (ERDI-CMU)**, led by **Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sirichai Khunapaddeelert**, Director, together with **Assoc. Prof. Dr. James C. Moran**, Project Advisor, and **Mr. Uthen Kanta**, Engineer, warmly welcomed the delegation from the **Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI)**, Republic of Korea. The visit was part of a collaborative discussion on the project **"Diagnostics of the National Climate Project Landscape: Green Innovation Drivers, Opportunities, and Challenges"**.
As part of the visit, the GGGI delegation also toured the **Biomass Management Center at Chiang Mai University**, which focuses on research and development in **biomass energy** and comprehensive energy management. The center’s primary objectives include promoting the use of **alternative energy**, reducing **greenhouse gas emissions**, and optimizing resource efficiency in a sustainable manner. It serves as a model for **green innovation** and **low-carbon technology**, with applications across various sectors.
