Professional Practices Lecture Series: IDEA Programme, Academic Year 2024/2

Faculty of Architecture

The Faculty of Architecture, Chiang Mai University, successfully organized the Professional Practices Lecture Series under the Integrated Design in Emerging Architecture (IDEA) International Program in the “Theory in Architecture Professional Practice” course from December 12, 2024, to March 10, 2025, both onsite and online platform. The event was presided over by Asst. Prof. Dr. Rattapong Angkasith, the Program Chair.

This lecture series featured 11 distinguished speakers from 8 countries and 1 special administrative region, who shared their professional experiences and insights with students and participants. The speakers included:

7. Ar. Mikako Oshima / Japan
8. Ar. Raphael Belhache / France
9. Ar. Nicha Singhachong / USA
10. Ar. Kulthida Songkittipakdee & Ar. Jenchieh Hung : HAS design and Research / Thailand

The lecture series aimed to broaden students' perspectives on global architectural practices, providing invaluable insights into real-world professional environments and fostering international collaboration.

The Faculty of Architecture extends sincere appreciation to all guest speakers for sharing their expertise and contributing to the advancement of architectural education. We look forward to continued collaboration in the future.
