On Wednesday 9 December, Asst. Prof. Dr. Srisuwan Naruenartwongsakul, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Agro-Industry presided over the opening ceremony of the International Virtual Mobility Programme delivering her greetings address to professors, students and staff of the Faculty of Bioresources and Food Industry, Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA), Malaysia via Cisco Webex.
Undergraduate and graduate students of the Faculty of Agro-Industry of Chiang Mai University and the Faculty of Bioresources and Food Industry of UniSZA alternated in presenting various topics – for example, Diversity in Malaysia brings uniqueness, Thai Culture and Thai Food, Traditional games in Malaysia, Sugar profiles analysis as rapid screening for authentic kelulut honey, Effect of using alternative sweetener as an osmotic agents to mass transfer during dip dehydration. Asst. Prof. Dr. Somchai Jomduang also guided UniSZA guests to see food process machines at the faculty food pilot plant through live video after lunch.
