The International College of Digital Innovation at Chiang Mai University, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Benjamas Suksatit, Deputy Dean of the College, was honored to participate in the candle casting ceremony and candle celebration on Buddhist Lent Day. This event, held on Friday, July 5, 2024, at 8:45 a.m. at Sala Dhamma, Chiang Mai University, included administrators, faculty, officials from all departments, and students. The objective of the event was to preserve the rich arts, culture, and traditions, ensuring the continuity of valuable cultural heritage.
At 1:00 p.m., Assistant Professor Dr. Rujira Ouncharoen, Dean of the International College of Digital Innovation, along with faculty and college personnel, offered candles for Buddhist Lent at the Royal Monastery, Wat Chet Yot, in Chang Phueak Subdistrict, Mueang Chiang Mai District, Chiang Mai Province. This was done to seek good fortune for the administrators and personnel of the college and to support the preservation of Buddhism.
