CMU Researchers Win 12 awards at 50th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva

Researchers from five CMU faculties – Agro-industry, Science, Nursing, Agriculture and Engineering – won 12 world-class innovation awards at the 50th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva, held at Palexpo, Geneva, Switzerland from April 9 to 13, 2025.
Held by the International Federation of Inventor’s Associations (IFIA), the exhibition featured over 1,000 innovations from 40 countries. Among the 122 projects presented by 44 Thai agencies, CMU earned a total of 12 awards, which were:
8. Rice Oligosaccharide Energy Drinks for Endurance Athlete (Faculty of Agro-industry) – Gold Medal with the Congratulations of the Jury
9. Nano spray from Holoptelea integrifolia bark extract (Faculty of Science) – Gold Medal and Special Prize from Korea Invention Promotion Association (KIPA)
10. VR Simulation for Managing Critically Ill Pediatric Patients on Mechanical Ventilation
(Faculty of Nursing) – Silver Medal, Special Prize from the Association of Polish Inventors and Rationalizers and NRCT Special Award from the National Research Council of Thailand
11. Sgreen X: Sexed Sperm Sorting Kit for Animal Semen (Faculty of Agriculture) – Silver Medal and NRCT Special Award
12. High energy efficiency LPG powered food fryer for SMEs (Faculty of Engineering) – Silver Medal and NRCT Special Award
13. UniBOX Spoon-Lid Food Container (Faculty of Engineering) – Silver Medal
14. Highly porous carbon and nano silicon-based materials from biomass for use as anode materials in lithium- and sodium-ion batteries (Faculty of Science) – Bronze Medal
Overall, CMU researchers achieved notable success, earning two Gold Medals, one with the Congratulations of the Jury, four Silver Medals, and one Bronze Medal. Furthermore, they received five special prizes from esteemed international bodies including the Korea Invention Promotion Association (KIPA), the Association of Polish Inventors and Rationalizers, and the National Research Council of Thailand. CMU warmly congratulates all the award recipients. Their success highlights the profound and sustained contributions of Thai researchers to the nation's development.
