Chiang Mai University has piloted an internationally recognised digital transcript system, the first-ever among Thai universities, that would guarantee quick and safe document delivery.
Excellence in all aspects is CMU’s value and organisational culture with the aim to increase efficiency and mobility, and become an organisation of learning. New approaches and technologies are adopted to improve the operation and achieve the vision of becoming a leading university that has social responsibility and sustainability. The latest initiative is the digital transcript service for maximum efficiency and user satisfaction.

With this internationally recognised system, users can get their documents delivered quickly and safely without having to travel to the University or wait for postal delivery for the physical copy. It will also facilitate the application process to universities overseas and reduce the use of paper and other natural resources associated with paper transcripts, thousands of which are issued every year. This is a testimony to CMU’s commitment to social responsibility and sustainable development.
To promote the use of digital transcripts, CMU has collaborated with the Electronic Transactions Development Agency (ETDA) and the allied universities in Thailand to widen the scope of adaptation. .
With such innovations, CMU strives to become a leader in the development of academic administration for sustainability and social responsibility.
