Faculty of Engineering holds “The 9th Sino –Thai Workshop on Renewable Energy 2018”

CMU’s Faculty of Engineering in collaboration with the National Research Council of Thailand and the National Natural Science Foundation of China held an academic seminar on renewable and clean energy “The 9th Sino-Thai Workshop on Renewable Energy”.
This seminar was held during December 6 – 7, 2018 at Furama Hotel, Chiang Mai with the objective to provide an opportunity for Thai and Chinese scholars to report their joint research progress on renewable energy, and Professor Dr. Pongrak Sribanditmongkol, Vice President presided over the opening ceremony.
The seminar was also an opportunity for the new Thai and Chinese researchers to exchange information on their research projects and improve research collaboration and develop their renewable and clean energy network in order to bring research outputs into commerce and industrial sectors. CMU’s Professor Thanongkiat Kiatsiriroj was the coordinator of Thai researchers and Professor Ma Longlong from Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion, Chinese Academy of Sciences was the Chinese coordinator. In total 21 Thai researchers and 48 Chinese researchers had joined this activity.
