NurseCMU Joins GNWHOCCNM Education Subgroup Meeting to Kickstart Collaborative Efforts

On February 4, 2025, Assistant Professor Dr. Suparat Wangsrikhun, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University, and Associate Professor Dr. Phanida Juntasopeepun, Associate Dean, participated in the Education Subgroup Meeting of The Global Network of WHO Collaborating Centers for Nursing and Midwifery (GNWHOCCNM), organized by the GNWHOCCNM Secretariat (WHO CC UTS). The meeting, held via Zoom, brought together representatives from 40 institutions across 27 countries, including Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Botswana, Canada, China, Finland, Israel, Jamaica, Japan, South Korea, Lithuania, Malawi, Myanmar, the Philippines, Portugal, South Africa, the United States, and others.
The meeting aimed to foster collaboration among nursing education centers, setting collective goals for curriculum development, research, and service delivery, and brainstorming joint projects eligible for collaborative research grants. These efforts aim to strengthen international partnerships and enhance the global impact of nursing education.
