19 April 2023
Corporate Communication and Alumni Relations Center (CCARC)
Professor Dr. Pongruk Sribanditmongkol, CMU President, presided over the announcement of the No Gift Policy 2023, attended by executives, deans and directors of CMU organisations online and on site to be informed and engage in the mission to advance CMU’s integrity and transparency assessment in a continuous and consistent manner. This is to reinforce integrity, honesty and transparency, as well as to promote good organisational culture to effectively prevent all forms of corruption and misconduct and actions that may impact the judgment or decision, leading to discrimination or conflict of interest. CMU has now effectively adopted the No Gift Policy in which executives and public officers do not accept gifts and other benefits both before and after duty, thus preventing corruption and miscondunct at present and in the future in adherence to the National Anti-Corruption Commission's Announcement on Government Officials' Legitimate Acceptance of Asset or Benefit Guideline, BE 2563 (2020).
CMU has participated in the Integrity and Transparency Assessment (ITA) since 2016 and in accordance with the integrity and transparency policy, CMU has announced the No Gift Policy 2023 signed by Professor Dr. Pongruk Sribanditmongkol, CMU President, to set forth a guideline for CMU personnel to ensure informedness and strict compliance.
