MIdS CMU Organizes Green Skills Workshop for Chiang Mai University Staff

Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School
On Tuesday, August 19, 2025, Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School, Chiang Mai University, organized a Green Skills workshop under the topic “LESS Project: A Tool Towards Green Office Certification.” The workshop was conducted for CMU personnel and featured speakers including Associate Professor Dr. Setth Samphattakul, Director of the University Academic Service Center (UNISERV CMU) and faculty member of Consortium in Climate Change Management, under Program in Integrated Science, MIdS CMU. as well as Dr. Netchanakan Sununta, Researcher at the Energy and Ecological Economics (3E) Research Unit, CMU.

The workshop emphasized practical, hands-on learning, with participants divided into small groups to brainstorm and present ideas, turning theoretical knowledge into practical applications. The training aimed to equip CMU staff with environmental knowledge and understanding, fostering collective action towards achieving Chiang Mai University’s Net Zero target and recognition as a Green University, certified by the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO).
