International College of Digital Innovation had the honor of hosting Prof. Soo Hee Lee from Kent Business School, University of Kent, UK, for a special lecture on the topic “Cultural Diversity and Creativity in the Digital Age.” The event took place on September 16, 2024, from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at room ICB1313, ICDI building.
The lecture covered interesting topics such as the sources of creativity, the creative process in digital societies, and how cultural diversity influences creativity and innovation. Additionally, it addressed how societies adapt to the rapid changes brought about by globalization, the relationship between globalization and nationalism, and interdisciplinary collaboration to foster a deeper understanding of social dynamics.
The atmosphere was enriched by the exchange of knowledge and experiences among faculty members, graduate students, and lecturers from various faculties within the university, with more than 20 participants attending in person and online. It was a valuable opportunity for attendees to gain new perspectives on creativity and social engagement in the digital era.
This lecture marks an important step in reaffirming the International College of Digital Innovation’s role as a hub for international learning and exchange, focusing on preparing faculty and students for the rapidly evolving world of digital innovation.
