On October 20, 2025, The International College of Digital Innovation, Chiang Mai University (ICDI-CMU), led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Benjamas Suksatit, along with delegations attended the Opening Ceremony of the “Training Program on Practical Renewable Energy Technologies for South and Southeast Asian Developing Countries.”

The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Li Baichun, Director of the Yunnan Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and Prof. Shang Yi, Vice President of Yunnan Normal University, at Room 227, School of Energy and Environmental Sciences, Yunnan Normal University, Kunming, P.R. China.

In the afternoon, the ICDI delegation joined the Symposium between School of Energy and Environmental Science (SEES YNNU) and ICDI (CMU) to exchange institutional overviews and discuss collaboration areas in Digital Innovation x Green Energy. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between ICDI and SEES, YNNU, was formally signed, marking a milestone in academic cooperation. The delegation also toured SEES laboratories and facilities to observe YNNU’s research excellence in renewable energy.
