Cosmetic science students place third at MEDCHIC Health Hackathon 2023

A team of graduate students in Cosmetic Science, CMU Faculty of Pharmacy, placed third in the pitching contest at the MEDCHIC Health Hackathon 2023 held on March 12, 2023, at Wintree City Resort Chiang Mai. The competition was themed ‘Accelerate Health Impact’, aiming to raise the bar for the development of new health solutions.
‘Sarmma’, meaning ‘three fruits’ in Thai, is an all-in-one cosmeceutical product infused with a blend of three seed extracts fruits – mango (Ma Muang), gandaria (Ma Prang) and Eugenia paniala Roxb (Ma Kiang). It was developed by Mr. Tharadon Khammeetham, Mr. Thasang Thawanaphong, Ms. Pawarisa Maneechai, Ms. Phanipphak Photirat, and Ms. Phattarawadee Jaikham.
