On Friday 4 December 2020, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sujinda Sriwattana, Dean, executive members and a lecturer of the Faculty of Agro-Industry accompanied the Vice President of Chiang Mai University, the Director and Vice Director of Science and Technology Park to cordially welcome the Director – General, Department of Europe, Mr. Sasiwat Wongsinswad and a group of European diplomatic corps from 18 countries who paid a visit to attend the meeting “Europe and Chiang Mai Connect 2020” at the Science and Technology Park of Chiang Mai University. Exchange of knowledge and experiences, promotion of collaborative development mechanism and promotion of collaborative network between Thailand and the European Union were discussed, especially in areas of Science Technology and Innovation, Creative and Design, Tourism and Smart City.
During the Breakout session, Asst. Prof. Dr. Suthaphat Kamthai, Head of Packaging Technology Division delivered his presentation on “Bio-plastic: Influence a better future” and took part in the discussion on research collaboration with countries in Europe.
