NurseCMU Witnessed the Signing Ceremony of Academic Collaboration between CMU and Florida International University

Assistant Professor Dr. Chutima Meechamnan, Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University, participated as a witness in the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on academic collaboration between Chiang Mai University (CMU) and Florida International University (FIU), USA. The ceremony was held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Executive Meeting Room 2, Office of the University Building 1, Chiang Mai University.

The signing ceremony was honored by the presence of Professor Dr. Pongruk Sribanditmongkol, President of Chiang Mai University, who welcomed Prof. Dr. Khokiat Kengskool, Professor of Practice (I.E.) and Director of International Programs for Southeast Asia, Florida International University, USA. The MOU signing marks a significant milestone in fostering academic collaboration and global engagement.

Also participating in the signing were Assistant Professor Dr. Tanyanuparb Anantana, Vice President of Chiang Mai University, and Assistant Professor Dr. Worakanya Buranaphattana, Assistant to the President. Executives and representatives from various faculties also attended as witnesses, including the Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Nursing, Faculty of Social Sciences, and Faculty of Medicine. The Faculty of Nursing views this collaboration as a vital step forward in expanding its international academic partnerships and enhancing global opportunities for education and research.
