Corporate Communication and Alumni Relations Center (CCARC)

CMU Pet Wellness Centre by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, is an all-in-one healthcare facility for healthy cats and dogs, providing all kinds of services from annual health check-ups, vaccinations, internal and external parasite prevention programmes, pet health certification, as well as microchip implant to help track pets in case of loss. The centre is open every day from 8.30 am – 4.30 pm.

Pet Wellness Centre offers vaccination and check-ups to healthy pets to prevent potential infections that may occur at traditional pet clinics. This will also allow for quicker and more efficient services.

Moreover, the centre is divided into two zones: one for dogs and one for cats, to ensure owners that their pets, particularly cats, will not suffer from stress during service. The services offered by the centre include 1. health check-up, 2. deworming, 3. parasite control, 4. blood parasite examination, 5. feline leukaemia (FeLV) and FIV test, 6. microchip implant, 7. vaccination, 8. health certification and 9. antibody titer test. (Antibody titer test measures the amount of antibodies in the body which can be used to assess the level of immunity after vaccination in cats and dogs.)
