Graduate students from the Faculty of Engineering at Chiang Mai University have received the Best Paper Award from the ISRM and ISRM India Association

Mr. Phopthorn Maneepong, a master's degree student in Mining and Georesources Engineering (International Program), Chiang Mai University, was honored with the Best Paper Award in the Youth category at the 13th Asian Rock Mechanics Symposium. The symposium, organized by the International Society for Rock Mechanics and Rock Engineering (ISRM) and ISRM India, took place in New Delhi, India, from September 22-27, 2024. His award-winning paper was titled “Influence of Hydromechanical Coupling Process on Instability of Pit Wall: A Case Study from Mae Moh Mine, Thailand.”
