Awarding of certificates Exchange program for nursing students from 5 leading universities in Japan and Taiwan

On August 25, 2023, the Faculty of Nursing at Chiang Mai University held a closing ceremony. They awarded certificates to participants of an exchange program for nursing students from five leading universities in Japan and Taiwan. Assistant Professor Dr. Thanee Kaewthummanukul, the Dean, presided over the ceremony. The universities included Kagawa University, Miyazaki Prefectural Nursing University, Toho University, Taipei Medical University, and Tzu Chi University of Science and Technology.
During the program, participants gained knowledge of the Thai healthcare system and services provided in Thai communities. They also learned about innovative nursing technologies such as VR and simulation, Local Wisdom, and Thai Traditional Medicine, and deepened their understanding of Thai people, society, and culture. The participants had the opportunity to visit various places, such as the Maharaj Nakhon Chiang Mai Hospital and Health Promotion Center Region 1 Chiang Mai. They also engaged in an opinion exchange discussion and enjoyed total cultural exposure. The closing ceremony marked the successful conclusion of the International Student Exchange Program.
