CAMT Students Won First Place in Creating Media

On December 7th, Marut Promphutha, Kulit Rattanapakdeechat, Peeranut Thepkhan, and Thanaunop Patum, fourth year students majoring in animation and games in The College of Arts, Media and Technology, Chiang Mai University, received first prize of 20,000 baht in the contest "New Media Creative Contest for Publicizing Research The Thailand Research Fund” (TRF). With Dr. Disaya Chudasri as their advisor, they created a 2D animation media which presented the research results on creating chemical sensors for the “intelligent sniffing shirts”, a research by Assistant Professor Dr. Teerakiat Kerdcharoen and Dr. Thara Seessaard. The purpose of this contest was to encourage the new generation to create media to promote TRF researches and to prove that researches are not foreign, but rather easily accessible, relevant to our daily lives, and is an important basis for furthering the development in the country.
