NurseCMU third-year students organized a health promotion event for senior citizens at the Senior Citizens Club

Faculty of Nursing
On September 20, 2024, third-year students from the International Nursing Program at the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University, organized a health promotion event for senior citizens at the Senior Citizens Club of the Faculty of Nursing. The activities included health screenings, self-care advice, exercise sessions, and a special lecture on Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever Prevention. Additionally, there was a workshop on making herbal mosquito repellent sachets to educate the elderly on preventing mosquito bites and mosquito-borne diseases.

This event was part of the students' clinical practice in internal medicine, focusing on applying their knowledge to promote the health of the elderly. The hands-on activities provided a valuable learning experience that also contributed to enhancing the quality of life and health of the senior citizens.
