Chiang Mai University Library provides 24-hour reading areas during the final exams of the 2nd semester of the 2023 academic year, from March 4 to 22, 2024. The 1st and 2nd floors of the University Library will be open for this service.

Service details are as follows:

1. Reading Area Services: available on the 1st and 2nd floors of the University Library.

2. Borrowing and Returning Resources

      2.1 After 9:00 PM, there will be no staff available for borrowing and returning books. You can borrow books through the Self-Check machine or CMU Mobile.
     2.2 Electronic devices can be borrowed before 9:00 PM.
3. Food and Beverage Area

        The Library has arranged for food trucks to sell food, snacks, and beverages in front of the library building, with a dining area set up at the artificial wood deck from 5:00 PM onwards.

4.User Groups
        4.1CMU Personnel and Students: Access via CMU Mobile or a registered personnel or student ID card.

       4.2 Library Members (Types A, B, C, D): Access using their membership card.

      4.3General Public: Pay a service fee of 20 THB. Access is not available after 9:00 PM.

5. Security Measures
        The library's entry and exit will be recorded using a fingerprint scanner to track and verify individuals entering and leaving the building 24 hours a day. Security personnel will be on duty around the clock.
