Students from the International College of Digital Innovation (ICDI) at Chiang Mai University have successfully advanced through the Regional Final, poised to represent Thailand in the Innovation Track at the Huawei ICT Competition 2023-2024, scheduled to take place in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Congratulations to the distinguished student team from the International College of Digital Innovation, Chiang Mai University, comprised of Ms. Kornkamol Liebsuetragul (Student ID: 642415002), Ms. Witchavee Noinivorn (Student ID: 652415053), and Ms. Kammaporn Kangwalwattanasiri (Student ID: 652415068), under the guidance of Project Advisor Professor Dr. Nares Suyaroj. Their exemplary performance in the Innovation Track competition during the Regional Round has secured their passage to the Regional Final. As a result, they are now set to partake in the Huawei ICT Competition 2023-2024 Asia Pacific Round Ceremony, hosted by Huawei APAC and ASEAN Foundation in Jakarta, Indonesia, scheduled for April 17th to 19th, 2024.
The Huawei ICT Competition serves as an annual platform wherein students engage in innovation competitions. This collaborative initiative between Huawei and over 42 esteemed educational institutions and universities nationwide aims to identify student teams exemplifying exceptional critical thinking, technical prowess, and creativity in information technology. These chosen teams are then tasked with representing Thailand in the Asia-Pacific regional competition, with the potential to compete at the global level. Additionally, winners of the competition stand the chance to secure internships at Huawei Thailand. The competition encompasses two distinct tracks: the Practice Track (focused on Network, Cloud, and Computing) and the Innovation Track.
