The innovative project “Plant-Based Chicken Meat” by students from the Faculty of Agro-Industry, Chiang Mai University, has won the Young Rising Stars of Science Award 2024” (Silver Prize)

The Senior Project, titled “Meat-X: Affordable Plant-Based Meat Analogue for a Sustainable Food Future” was created by students Ms. Nattanicha Somchit and Ms. Natthida Mano from the Food Science and Technology program, Faculty of Agro-Industry. The project was awarded the **Silver Prize** in the “Young Rising Stars of Science Award 2024” competition organized by the Science Society of Thailand Under the Patronage of His Majesty the King. Their research was supervised by Assistant Professor Dr. Suphat Phongthai and Dr. Pipat Tangjaidee.


This prestigious award was judged based on the Senior Projects submitted and presented at The 50th International Congress on Science, Technology, and Technology-Based Innovation (STT50), held on November 26–27, 2024, at The Empress Hotel, Chiang Mai, Thailand.
