Between 19th-23rd August, 2024, the Department of Geography, Faculty of Social Sciences, Chiang Mai University, is co-hosting an international workshop with the Stimson Center, Eyes on Earth and the US Department of the Interior, International Technical Assistance Program, USA, on “Mekong Dam Monitor Remote Sensing Capacity Building Workshop”. The welcome remarks were given by CMU vice president, Associate Professor Dr. Rattasit Sukhahuta, Ms. Claire Shields, from the US Department of the Interior, International Technical Assistance Program, and the CMU Head of the Geography Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Liwa Pardthaisong. Participants include academic staff, researchers and postgraduate students from Chiang Mai, Chulalongkorn, Kasetsart, and Mae Fah Luang Universities.
