The International College of Digital Innovation, Chiang Mai University was invited to join a dinner event with representatives of the British Prime Minister's trade delegation to foster international cooperation between Thailand and the United Kingdom.

The International College of Digital Innovation, Chiang Mai University, received a special invitation from the British Embassy in Bangkok to attend a dinner event hosted by Mr. Mark Garnier, the Special Trade Envoy to the British Prime Minister, on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at the Banjong Banquet Hall, Dusit Thani Bangkok. The objective was to delve deeper into avenues for supporting transnational education efforts between Thailand and the United Kingdom (TNE). Dr. Chakkrapong Kuensaen represented Chiang Mai University and engaged in discussions concerning the challenges faced in TNE, appropriate support, and innovative approaches to TNE between Chiang Mai University and the United Kingdom. Additionally, the British Council in Thailand shared valuable insights from research regarding the status of TNE nationwide in Thailand, emphasizing potential advancements achievable through specific factor adjustments. This event marked a significant step forward in elevating the global presence of Chiang Mai University and promoting international collaboration in education at the tertiary level.
