The International College of Digital Innovation, Chiang Mai University, organized the "International Buddy Program: Welcome Freshmen to CMU Community 2023" event under the Study Explore Embrace Diffuse Programs (SEED Programs).

During the event, the Student Quality Development Unit of ICDI provided various information and activities to prepare the new undergraduate students studying in international programs for university life at Chiang Mai University. The activities included:

1. The introduction of CMU International Students Support Initiative (CMU ISSI)
2. CMU Main Library Introduction by Ms. Thuntiwa Pakdeepatrakorn (Librarian of CMU Main Library)
3. Basic rules for safety and well-being by Pol. Sgt. Thinnakorn Somboonma (Tourist Police Officer)
4. Visa Extension by Ms. Thanyaphorn Sriwichailamphan (International Relations Officer of ICDI)
5. Meet the CMU Student Council
The event was held at the Living Space, 3rd floor at CMU Main Library from 12:30 PM to 03:00 PM on Saturday, June 24, 2023, with a total number of 128 international CMU students and ICDI staff participating
