NurseCMU's Dean Addresses Future Challenges at Nursing International Conference in the Philippines

Assistant Professor Dr. Thanee Kaewthammanukul, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing at Chiang Mai University (NurseCMU), recently presented at the 5th International Conference on Technological Competency as Caring in Nursing & The Health Sciences in the Philippines. The conference, held from June 13 to 15, 2024, was organized by Our Lady of Fatima University and Tokushima University Rozzano Locsin Institute. Dr. Thanee's plenary session emphasized the importance of integrating technology to enhance nursing competency and the need for nursing educators to prepare for future challenges in the healthcare landscape.

The conference aimed to explore the transformative potential of technology in nursing practice and education. Dean Thanee's participation highlighted NurseCMU's commitment to advancing nursing education and research in the digital age. His insights underscored the critical role of technological competency in addressing future healthcare challenges and improving patient care outcomes.

Looking ahead, NurseCMU will host the Global Health Recalibration Conference in Chiang Mai from September 4 to 6, 2024. The conference theme, "Global Health Recalibration: Strengthening Outcomes, Education, Clinical Practice, and Research," seeks to bring together professionals worldwide to share experiences and foster collaboration to strengthen global health outcomes, education, and research.
