Attending the competition of Devanagari handwriting Contest and Indian Dress Coat Contest

Mr. Krishna Chaitanya, Consul of India in Chiang Mai, presided over the opening ceremony of the Devanagari Handwriting Contest and the Indian Dress Coat Contest, held on September 7, 2020 at CMU’s Faculty of Humanities.
He was also the Chair for the Judging Committee which included Mr. Mohan Singh Gulati, President of the Indian Community in Chiang Mai, Mr. Ranjit Singh, Advisor to ISCCMU, Mr. Charanjeet Singh, Gurudwara Singh Sabha Chiang Mai, Mr. Nokdang Jamir and Ms. Amang Jamir.
This contest was hosted by Indian Studies Center Chiang Mai University (ISCCMU) in association with Department of Pali, Sanskrit and Hindi, Faculties of Humanities and had received a lot of attention from students from various faculties in the university, with Ms. Sirinat Kanthawong winning the handwriting contest and Ms. Jessica Soncharoen winning the Indian dress coat contest.
Also during this occasion 51 books under the "Bharat Ek Parichay" (knowing India) - Sharing Knowledge with the world project, was presented by Indian Consul to Vice President Associate Professor Rome Chiranukrom and Dr. Pattama Sawangsri on behalf of ISCCMU.
