The International College of Digital Innovation, Chiang Mai University, under the Study Explore Embrace Diffuse Program (SEED Program), organizes the Loy Krathong Festival Event, or "Yi Peng" tradition of the Lanna people. The Loy Krathong Festival usually takes place in November of every year. The event was a workshop held in 2 sessions. The morning session was a workshop for the paper lantern, also known as "Khomfai," and the afternoon session was the Krathong-making workshop. The event was held at the International College of Digital Innovation Building from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Monday, November 7, 2022. A total of 56 CMU international students and ICDI staff participated in this event.
