Design and Research Workshop between Faculty of Architecture and Kyoto Institute of Technology, Japan

Faculty of Architecture, Chiang Mai University held a Design and Research Workshop with Kyoto Institute of Technology, Japan for graduate students from 7 - 14 September 2022 at Faculty of Architecture, Chiang Mai University with an opening speech by Professor Dr. Rawiwan Oranratmanee, Dean of Faculty of Architecture. The participants were lecturers of Master of Architecture Program (International Program), lecturers of Kyoto Institute of Technology, and graduate students in 3 programs: Master of Architecture; Master of Architecture (International Program); and Doctor of Philosophy in Architecture (International Program). The aims for the workshop were to encourage lecturers and students to learn from integrating architectural arts and design; to students' logical thinking and problem-solving abilities; and to exchange the knowledge among lecturers and students of Thai and foreign backgrounds. This was a part of the academic collaboration as signed in the MOU between the Faculty of Architecture and Kyoto Institute of Technology
