The International College of Digital Innovation (ICDI) at Chiang Mai University organized an "Cherry Blossoms in the Clouds: An Excursion to Doi Inthanon’s Wild Himalayan Cherries" activity as an integral part of the SEED Program, with the goal of fostering international engagement among Thai and international students.
The International College of Digital Innovation hosted the Cherry Blossoms in the Clouds: An Excursion to Doi Inthanon’s
Wild Himalayan Cherries for Chiang Mai University students, offering them the opportunity for both international and Thai students t to study various plant species and the history of the tobacco curing barns in Chiang Mai. On this occasion, students visited Chiang Mai Royal Agricultural Research Centre (Khun Wang) and Kaomai Lanna, a former tobacco curing barn. The event took place on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, and there was a participation of 32 international students, faculty, and staff members.
