MEDCHIC Innovation Day 2023

The CMU Faculty of Medicine and the National Innovation Agency (NIA) co-hosted MEDCHIC Innovation Day 2023 themed ‘From Idea to Impact; From Connection to Globalization’. Executives from both parties were in attendance, with Professor Bannakij Lojanapiwat, the Faculty’s Dean, giving an introductory speech and Professor of Practice Dr. Charin Techapun, Vice President, welcoming the participants, while Dr. Krithpaka Boonfueng, NIA Director, gave the opening speech. The purpose of this event was to encourage learning exchange, turning ideas into positive health impacts and growing networks of collaboration on an international scale. The exhibition included a variety of research, technology and health innovations developed by medical professionals, entrepreneurs, businesses and startups. There was also a Medical & Health Tech Conference which discussed global challenges. Held on September 9, 2023, at the CMU Convention Centre, the event aimed to become a space filled with potential and an emerging community of medical innovation for the future.
