Dean of the International College of Digital Innovation at Chiang Mai University, to pay a courtesy call to Miss Phaweewan Noraphanlop, the Consul-General in Kunming, seeking advice regarding the student exchange program between the School of Railway Engineering and Kunming Railway Vocational and Technical College.

On August 18, 2023, at the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Kunming, Assistant Professor Dr. Rujira Oncharoen, Dean of the International College of Digital Innovation at Chiang Mai University, joined the travel group on a study visit for the purpose of exchanging ideas. This endeavor was aimed at fostering collaboration in the realm of business opportunities and cross-border online commerce (Cross-Border E-Commerce) through rail transport. The initiative was led by Dr. Pichet Kunadhamraks, the Director General of the Department of Rail Transport at the Ministry of Transport of Thailand, in conjunction with Dr. Tayakorn Chandrangsu, Director of the Safety Standards and Maintenance Division, and Dr. Santi Charoenpornpattana, President of the Rail Technology Research and Development Agency at the Ministry of Transport. Their main objective was to pay a courtesy call to Miss Phaweewan Noraphanlop, the Consul-General in Kunming, seeking advice regarding the student exchange program between the School of Railway Engineering and Kunming Railway Vocational and Technical College. Additionally, they sought guidance on the process of bringing Chinese students to study in Thailand.
